Villa Vigoni is an association, which has been founded by the German Federal Republic and the Italian Republic. Its aim is to foster the relationships between Italy and Germany in the fields of scientific research, higher education and culture, in addition to their impact in the economy, in the society and in politics. Villa Vigoni endorses the Italian-German dialogue as the widening of the bilateral dimension towards a European dimension.

No, Villa Vigoni is not a hotel. We offer the possibility to stay in one of our rooms only to guests, who have been invited to the meetings. In this case, the guests will enjoy an environment of rare fascination. Every aspect – from the meetings in the newly refurbished conference room to the meals in the old rooms of the main Villa – expresses the diverse aspects of the European history and culture, with a particular regard to the history of Italian-German relationships.

Cultural events in Villa Vigoni embrace different subjects, such as scientific meetings, seminars on contemporary polotics, workshops for PhD students, debates between Italian and German journalists, round tables among experts, classical music concerts, etc.
