This meeting aims to analyze the close interconnection between philosophy and literary form by examinating examples from Antiquity, Renaissance and Modern Times. Furthermore, the meeting serves to conclude the final works for the volume (3 tomes) on the History of Philosophy between Renaissance and Humanism, forthcoming publication within the book series "Ueberwegs Grundriss der Geschichte der Philosophie".
